The mission of the Child Nutrition Program (CNP) is to provide affordable, nutritious, and tasty meals to students and staff of the school system.  Now with a worldwide concentration on eating healthy, the Mobile County Public School System's (MCPSS) CNP department is supporting the Comprehensive Wellness Plan by adding to its goals-'building a healthier future'.  

Each week the school cafeterias will feature a different vegetable, fruit, and a whole grain food every day. MCPSS cafeterias will also provide only low-fat (1% or less) and fat-free (skim) fluid milk, flavored or unflavored each day. 

CNP will provide informational messages about healthy foods in fun, fact-filled  posters that will display in the cafeterias and on schools' digital messaging systems.
